What Do You Crave Most?

At Craving God Ministries our goal is to provide encouragement through truth in the word to ignite passion and relationship so that you can answer this question with the one thing that matters most, God.

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes” Romans 1:16a

If I told you that I had “good news” to share with you, you would want to know all about it. You’d want to know all of the details right away. We love hearing praise reports and good news, don’t we?

Did you know that the word gospel means, “to bring or announce good news?”

The gospel is FULL of good news. Such good news that it can bring much needed hope and encouragement to those who need it most. Thankfully God has made it very clear to us that this is what He would have us do. Share the good news!

“He said to them, ‘Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.’” Mark 16:15

Since we have been clearly instructed to do so, let’s go out and share the good news with others. And don’t let the word “preach” intimidate you. All that means is to publicly proclaim or earnestly advocate. There are a number of ways we can do this. You are especially equipped to share it in a unique and special way.

“Day after day, in the temple courts and from house to house, they never stopped teaching and proclaiming the good news that Jesus is the Messiah.” Acts 5:42

During that time the Apostles had a door to door approach, but what stands out to me most is that they did this “day after day.” They NEVER STOPPED teaching and proclaiming the good news!

Sharing the gospel is as simple as having a sincere, humble conversation with someone who may not share the same beliefs as you. It’s about telling them your story. It’s about what God has done in your life and assuring them that He can do the same in theirs. The gospel can be comforting and encouraging. We wouldn’t want to keep that good news from anyone!

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes” Romans 1:16a

If this feels intimidating to you…Take the pressure off of you and let the Holy Spirit lead you as you share the gospel. Share the good news about God’s love and let Him do the rest. You SHARE and He SAVES.

Pray “day after day” that the Holy Spirit gives you the courage to boldly share the gospel, “never stopping” to seize every opportunity to tell others the good news about Jesus Christ.

Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for the gospel and the good news it tells us of. May we never take for granted the calling to share it with all the world. Father, provide us with opportunities and fill us with your Holy Spirit as we joyfully share about your immense love for us. That’s the best news of all and for that we love, praise, and honor you.
In Jesus’ Precious name, Amen.
